Update: Innovation Direct™ receives e-mail reply from India-based manufacturer regarding sporting goods accessory; licensing proposal re-sent at their request…
Greetings, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back once again with an update on a situation most recently reported on yesterday (http://innovationdirectonline.com/blog/?p=1035). Earlier Tuesday, Innovation Direct™ received a reply from the principal of India-based G & A International regarding an e-mail he’d sent him yesterday about a sporting goods accessory from our roster. As we’d explained in the aforementioned posting, G & A is headed by the former principal of another Indian firm that had at one point expressed an advanced level of interest in the same invention, but had ceased to communicate with Innovation Direct™ after we’d sent them a licensing proposal for the concept.
As per the communication received from G & A Tuesday, the other company’s board of directors had objected to certain terms of the licensing agreement proposal, even though they never communicated this specifically at any point. However, the gentleman also commented that he would be more than willing to review the document once again from a fresh perspective and most importantly, from a position as the ultimate decision-making authority on the matter.
Accordingly, the proposal has already been re-sent via e-mail to G & A, and we are hopeful of receiving prompt and positive feedback. Check in with us on the Innovation Direct™ Blog for the latest regarding this evolving situation!
