Update: Innovation Direct™ receives feedback from Canadian Innovation Direct To Industry™ company regarding 3 inventions under review…
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back once again with another update. Earlier Thursday, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of a Canadian outdoor products manufacturer received a reply from the outfit’s marketing manager regarding the e-mail he’d sent him yesterday asking for an update on their review of detailed design information on 3 product ideas from our roster. We’d reported on this situation just yesterday (“Update: Innovation Direct™ sends follow-up e-mail to Canadian Innovation Direct To Industry™ outdoor products company regarding 3 inventions under review…“).
As per the e-mail correspondence received, the manufacturer has declined further interest in the trio of concepts. The company contact was diligent enough to provide detailed reasoning why they opted to pass on each product idea. There were a variety of reasons cited, from the fact that the company felt the items would not be strong enough to generate sufficient support sales over time to concerns about certain features of one of the product ideas. The manufacturer did express a willingness to review a second batch of inventions from the Innovation Direct™ roster as soon as possible and as such, a search for a new Innovation Direct To Industry™ package will be initiated as soon as possible.
While acknowledging that this is not an ideal outcome, we are certainly appreciative of the promptness of feedback this company demonstrated, and will proceed with our efforts on behalf of these product concepts. We will certainly update you on any developments with both this company and the aforementioned inventions, here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog. Join us frequently!
