Update: Innovation Direct™ receives phone call from inventor of cleaning accessory regarding manufacturer; telephone follow-up to happen soon…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back once again with another update. Earlier Thursday, the Innovation Direct™ representative that has managed the advanced level of interest displayed in a cleaning accessory from our roster by a Florida-based manufacturer in recent months received an e-mail from the inventor of the product requesting an update on whether or not the company had responded to the most recent e-mail they’d been sent. We had most recently reported on this ongoing situation in a May 4th posting (“Update: Innovation Direct™ sends follow-up e-mail to Florida-based manufacturer regarding cleaning accessory…“).

As we’d explained in that entry and others previous to it regarding this matter, the manufacturer had been sent an e-mail providing them with some counter-arguments to their reason assertion that they did not feel the product was worth licensing until it was granted the patent that was recently applied for on its behalf. On the date of the aforementioned posting, the company had been sent an e-mail asking that they provide us with their feedback on our rebuttal, and with no reply having been provided, the inventor’s call today provided an opportunity to map out a new strategy.

As per today’s conversation between the inventor and our colleague, a phone call follow-up will be attempted as the next course of action in trying to obtain an update, and this will occur in the coming days.
