Update: Innovation Direct™ receives prototype dimensions from cake accessory inventor; information already relayed to industry partner…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an update on a situation we’d most recently reported on just last Friday (“Update: Innovation Direct™ speaks to cake accessory inventor regarding manufacturer’s question…“). Earlier Monday, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the advanced level of interest in a cake accessory by a company our West Coast-based industry partner does business with received a call from the inventor, who provided the information on the dimensions for her product.

As we’d explained in the aforementioned entry, the manufacturer had asked our industry partner to inquire as to whether the invention had a prototype, or whether at the very least, dimensions were available. Because the inventor’s rough prototype was too unwieldy to ship at a reasonable cost, she felt it would be ideal to provide the size details instead, hence her call earlier Monday.
