Update: Innovation Direct™ receives requested follow-up report from licensee of Help and Care at the Dentist invention…

Good afternoon, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, chiming in with another report. Following up on a situation we’d most recently reported on in an April 22nd entry (“Innovation Direct™ seeks update from licensee of Help and Care at the Dentist invention…“), Innovation Direct™ has received a response to our request for an update from the licensee of the Help and Care at the Dentist invention. As we’d explained in the posting alluded to above, the manufacturer had mentioned months ago that they were working on potential deals with a couple of different dental products distributors and felt that some major progress was imminent at the time, but we not heard anything back since that point.

As per today’s e-mail correspondence from the licensee, they already have a strong interest from one of the companies they had been engaged in dialogue with, and will have a telephone meeting with another this coming Friday. In other words, although these are positive steps, nothing has been finalized in regards to definitive distribution for the invention.
