Update: Innovation Direct™ requests, receives follow-up from California-based automotive products Innovation Direct To Industry™ company regarding invention that is subject of interest…
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back once again with another update. Earlier Friday, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of a California-based automotive products manufacturer sent the company president an e-mail request for an update regarding their continued evaluation of the one invention from their latest Innovation Direct To Industry™ package that they’d taken an advanced level of interest in. We had most recently reported on this situation in February 27th entry (“Update: Innovation Direct™ requests, receives feedback from California-based automotive products manufacturer regarding latest Innovation Direct To Industry™ package; one invention from group subject of advanced level of interest…“).
As we’d explained in that posting, the president of the company had requested additional time in which to discuss the concept with his chief engineer, as it appeared to be a rather complex invention. With exactly one month having passed since that point, our aforementioned colleague felt it would be prudent to request an update.
As per an e-mail reply received from the manufacturer late Friday afternoon, the company president himself is curious to know where his engineers are with the review of the product idea, and had coincidentally just sent an e-mail inquiring about the matter earlier in the day. He went on to emphasize that he would pass along any reply he received as soon as he had it in hand.
We continue to hold out hope that this company’s interest will blossom into something more advanced and will certainly bring you the details of any significant developments, here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog. Stop in often!
