Update: Innovation Direct™ requests, receives update from Innovation Direct To Industry™ company dBest Products, Inc…

Greetings, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back again with another Innovation Direct To Industry™-related update. Earlier Friday, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of California-based dBest Products, Inc., one of the companies that participated in this year’s International Home and Housewares Show, sent an e-mail to his contact at the company requesting his feedback on a recent clarification he’d sent him on our firm’s need for non-disclosure agreements to be signed before divulging confidential information on inventions.  We had most recently reported on this situation in an April 22nd posting (“Update: Innovation Direct™ attempts follow-up with California-based dBest Products, Inc. regarding initial Innovation Direct To Industry™ package…“).

Late Friday evening, our aforementioned colleague did receive a response from his contact. As per the gentleman’s e-mail, the manufacturer will not sign non-disclosure agreements under any circumstances, meaning that we will only be able to share details on inventions from our roster that have at least a provisional patent filed.
