Update: Innovation Direct™ sends follow-up letter to New York-based manufacturer regarding detailed design information sent on personal medical accessory…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an update on a situation we’d most recently reported on in a March 12th posting  (“Update: Innovation Direct™ receives signed non-disclosure agreement for personal medical accessory from New York-based manufacturer; access to detailed design information sent…“). Earlier Friday, Innovation Direct™ sent a follow-up letter to the New York-based manufacturer that was the subject of that entry regarding the detailed design information they had been sent on a personal medical accessory from our roster.

As we’d explained previously, the company had requested more details on the concept after having been sufficiently intrigued by the initial, preliminary materials about it that they’d looked over. They had been sent a non-disclosure agreement at that point in order to make the divulging of detailed information possible, and had eventually agreed to confidentiality on March 12th. With almost a month having passed since the access to the confidential information on the inventions was sent to the company and a complete absence of feedback, it was prudent to send follow-up correspondence regarding the matter at this point.

Check back with the Innovation Direct™ Blog regarding any future developments with this situation!
