Update: New York-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ company signs exclusive developmental agreements on 2 Innovation Direct™ inventor product ideas…
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking back in with a very positive update. We are pleased to report that a New York-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ company that had been reviewing the detailed design information on 4 Innovation Direct™ inventor product ideas has elected to sign an exclusive developmental agreement on 2 of the items. We had previously reported on this situation in a March 5th entry (“New York-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ company provides feedback on recent package of 16 Innovation Direct™ inventor product ideas…“).
As we’d explained in that posting, the company had originally been sent preliminary, non-confidential information on 16 items in their latest Innovation Direct To Industry™ package. After whittling down their interest to 4 of the inventions, they signed a non-disclosure agreement for those ideas and were sent the access to the detailed design information to them by the Innovation Direct™ representative that manages their Innovation Direct To Industry™ account.
The agreements signify that the company will be performing their due diligence over the next several weeks on the potential of the 2 inventions and will evaluate their potential long-term fit with their product lines. Naturally, Innovation Direct™ will keep close contact with the manufacturer and will attempt to assist them in any way possible during this period. We are certainly hopeful that this situation will eventually culminate in licensing success for these items, but only time will tell.
