Update: Innovation Direct™ sends follow-up letter and second copy of non-disclosure agreement regarding consumer electronics accessory to Florida-based manufacturer…
Good evening, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back once again with another update. Earlier Friday, Innovation Direct™ sent a Florida-based manufacturer that had requested access to detailed information on a consumer electronics accessory several weeks ago a follow-up letter and second copy of a non-disclosure agreement. We had originally reported on this situation in a February 19th posting (“Innovation Direct™ inventor’s consumer electronics invention subject of initial interest from Florida-based company; non-disclosure agreement sent…“).
As we’d explained in that entry, the manufacturer had requested more information on the invention after having reviewed preliminary, non-confidential material about it. At the time, as per our customary procedure, a Innovation Direct™ representative had sent the company a non-disclosure agreement for signature in order to make the eventual divulging of detailed design information on the concept a possibility. With over a month having passed since the document was first sent, the follow-up letter and second non-disclosure became a necessity.
We will certainly update you should we receive the signed guarantee of confidentiality in return. Join us here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog often!
